Watershed Stewards Honoured in 2022 Recognition Program
Muskoka Watershed Council (MWC) has recognized 14 watershed stewards in 2022 through the Doug Cross Stewardship Recognition Program. The program was established in 2022 to help local community organizations across Muskoka’s watersheds recognize the dedication, effort and good stewardship activities of their members.
The following recipients were honoured through the program:

- Fairy Lake Association
- Fox Lake Association: David White
- Friends of Muskoka: Laurie Thomson
- Lake of Bays Association: Diane Crocker
- Leonard Lake Stakeholders Association: Betty Isbister
- Loon & Turtle Lakes Cottage Association: Jimmy and Brenda Burke
- Muskoka Lakes Association: Chris and Louise Cragg
- Muskoka Ratepayers’ Association: Patricia Arney
- Muskoka Watershed Council: Caroline Konarzewski
- Pine Lake Ratepayers’ Association: George Bryant
- Ril Lake Association: Kat Colbourn and Chris Gorczynski
- Six Mile Lake Cottagers’ Association: Paul Wiancko
