October 6th Water Levels
Rain will threaten in the entire basin throughout the weekend.
All of the Great Lakes water levels are currently above their October long-term average water levels. Lake Michigan-Huron is above last year’s level by 2 inches. All of the Great Lakes are below their levels of a month ago. Lake Michigan-Huron has dropped 2 inches over the last month.
Lake Superior’s outflow through the St. Mary’s River and Lake Michigan-Huron’s outflow into the St. Clair River are projected to be above average in October.
