As opposed to the Canada Ontario Agreement, which binds Ontario into the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, the Great Lake Protection Act (GLPA) requires Ontario to protect the Great Lakes.
Accordingly, GBA weighed in on this Act in 2015, and submitted comments to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and the Bill 66 Legislative Committee.
