Cold Water Kills - You Are Your Own First Responder
Learn life saving information for cold water immersion! The Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) is once again hosting virtual Cold Water Awareness workshops featuring Dr. Gordon Giesbrecht (aka Professor Popsicle), a world-renowned expert in hypothermia. Workshops take place over 2 evenings from 8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. There are three workshops currently open for registration:
- Tuesday February 15th & Thursday February 17th
- Tuesday March 29th & Thursday March 31st
- Tuesday April 19th & Thursday April 21st

The workshops focus on everything you need to know to survive an accidental cold water immersion and how to help others who may have become hypothermic.

The cost of this online Cold Water Workshop is $75 and participants will receive a certificate of completion.
