Asian Carp barrier project gains key support
Following support for the Brandon Road Lock and Dam project (on the Des Plaines River near Joliet, Illinois) by the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, the Great Lakes Commission and the Alliance for the Great Lakes, the new Governor of Illinois has now authorized initial engineering work on this project to proceed.
